I seriously can't believe how delicious this is! The first reviewer is so right...the anchovies, all 6 of them completely disappeared into the oil that smelled so good after the fishiness cooked off that I wanted to eat it with a loaf of bread!! I sauteed a chopped onion with the garlic and cut the olives in fourths. Yum

Maybe I just don't like Bubble and Squeak but this was a saga recipe that I made for Christmas breakfast and thought it was very average. I felt like an idiot after going through all of the trouble and filling the house with a wonderful cooked cabbage smell that was so NOT Christmas. What was I thinking? Maybe of curing cancer? The ingredients are healthful if you like a brassica brunch make this one!

This is the broccoli I've been searching for. It may seem basic but try it. It's delicious!

The spice mixture for the fish was incredible. I'm going to use it for sauteed & grilled fish too. I thought the sandwich needed something on the bun after tasting it so I used a cilantro, lime tartar sauce that I had made just in case. That made it delicious! Maybe the jalapeno mixture wasn't enough because the jalapenos from the garden were fairly mild even though I doubled them. Next time I want to try sauteing the fish for a bolder flavor even though I really enjoyed trying the fried version first.

I'm so glad I didn't have any ricotta!! I had some cave-aged gruyere already shredded and it was delicious. I had a bunch of jalapenos from the garden that had turned red and weren't very spicy. They ended up being way better than the green ones. I couldn't figure out how to seed them easily and then I remembered my bone marrow knives which were perfect and helped with the stuffing too. These were delicious and way prettier than the picture. I used the ridged grill pan and it worked great.

This yogurt mixture was very interesting, delicate, delicious and well balanced. I like that the mixture is over half vegetables, it's a good consistency and more heathful too. I would serve this with Middle Eastern or Indian food. It's the most attractive right after it's made but the yummiest after a day. Maybe make the day before and then add the spinach right before serving to bump up the color from Army green. I didn't have time to make the flatbread so I used Trader Joe's flatbread and blackened it on the gas burner, brushed with olive oil and then sprinkled with the za'atar. I served it with a Turkey Shawarma and Quinoa with Grilled Zucchini. Yum!

This peanut sauce is better than any Thai peanut sauce I've made or tasted - it's delicious.  I didn't like it at all with the slaw mixture, for some reason the flavor completely disappears even when served immediately.  I made the whole recipe for the 2 of us so the good news is I only tossed the dressing with a small amount of the yummy slaw mixture.  The next day I used a cilantro, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, green onion, touch of mayo dressing that was way better.  I would serve the sauce with sate or fresh rolls and make a different dressing for the slaw, maybe something with rice vinegar and top it with green onions and chopped peanuts. Mmmm.

I served these several times since the recipe first appeared in 1986.  I've always had rave reviews. The prosciutto turns into the yummiest bacon you've ever had.  I served this with regular mashed potatoes, but the recipe recommends the Parmesan Mashed Potatoes with Rosemary which sound really good together.
